The Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination Part II evaluates the ability of physicians, their knowledge, skills, and frame of mind necessary for medical licensure in Canada before having independent clinical practice.

This examination comprises of a series of clinical stations. At each station, a short written instruction introduces a clinical problem and leads the candidate to examine a SP (simulated patient) accurately as well as taking a focused history, performing a focused physical examination, or evaluating and attending to the patient’s issues. Physicians are asked to interpret X-rays or lab reports, formulate a diagnosis and/or advise admission orders.

This course runs for 10 weeks with 4 classes per week. Classes run for 3 hours.
